Preparing to Use a Fax Server
This section describes how to send a fax using a fax server.
When a fax server is enabled, [Fax] in the [Home] screen is changed to [Fax Server].[Home] Screen
Fax and Fax Server cannot be used simultaneously.
A fax is sent via an Ethernet network, not a telephone line. You cannot send and receive a fax via a telephone line.

The described settings here use Remote UI from a computer.
On the control panel, you can enable and disable using a fax server from [Function Settings] in [Menu] in the [Home] screen. You cannot specify domain settings from the control panel.
Administrator privileges are required. The machine must be restarted to apply the settings.

Log in to Remote UI in Administrator Mode. Starting Remote UI

On the Portal page of Remote UI, click [Settings/Registration]. Portal Page of Remote UI

Click [TX Settings] 
[Email/I-Fax Settings] [Edit].
[Email/I-Fax Settings] [Edit].The [Edit Email/I-Fax Settings] screen is displayed.

Select the [When Sending I-Fax] checkbox.

Enter the domain name of the fax server in [Domain Name].

Select the [Use Fax Server] checkbox.

Click [OK].
