Orientation for Loading Envelopes (POD Deck Lite-C) (Option)
When you load envelopes in POD Deck Lite-C, attach the optional Envelope Feeder Attachment-G to the paper drawer and adjust the position of the paper guides. For how to attach Envelope Feeder Attachment-G, see the manual of Envelope Feeder Attachment-G.
Load envelopes with the print side face up. The orientation of the flap and whether it is open or closed vary depending on the size of the envelope.
Set the orientation in the [Orientation] setting of the printer driver. For details, click [Help] on the [Printing Preferences] screen to display help.

Load the envelopes in landscape orientation. Load the envelopes with the flap closed and at the back.
Example: When printing on the front side
* Depending on the envelope manufacturer, you may not need to attach Envelope Feeder Attachment-G for Yougatanaga 3 envelopes. Load the envelopes in portrait orientation with the flap open and on the right side.
Nagagata 3 and Kakugata 2
Load the envelopes in landscape orientation. Load the envelopes with the flap open and on the right side.
Example: When printing on the front side
NOTE
If an Envelope Is Not Fed Correctly
If an envelope is not fed correctly even after being shaped, load envelopes one at a time.
If the envelope cannot be fed correctly or paper jams or wrinkles occur, fold the envelope flap into the envelope or rotate it to set it.
Rotate envelopes and set them as shown below.
Nagagata 3 and Kakugata 2
Set by rotating 180 degrees.
No.10 (COM10), ISO-C5, DL, and Monarch
Set by rotating 180 degrees.
When [Custom Size] is set to 139.7 mm x 148.0 mm to 330.2 mm x 487.7 mm (5 1/2" x 5 7/8" to 13 " x 19 1/4") and the flap breaks or the paper jams occur
Set by rotating 90 degrees.
* When printing, rotate the paper orientation on the printer driver's [Printing Preferences] screen as well. For details, click [Help] on the [Printing Preferences] screen to display help.
* When copying, rotate the orientation of the placed original.
* When printing on the back side, the output envelopes may not be aligned.
If ISO-C5 envelope is rotated 90 degrees, print with setting 229 mm x 162 mm (9" x 6 3/8") in [Custom Size].
