Cleaning the Inside of the Machine
If the printout is smudged, the inside of the machine may be dirty. In this case, clean the inside of the machine.
The inside of the machine cannot be cleaned when data is waiting to be printed or there is insufficient toner.

Required Preparations
Check that there is toner. Checking the Remaining Amount of Consumables and Parts

On the control panel, press [
Settings/Registration] in the [Home] screen or other screen. [Home] Screen

Press [Adjustment/Maintenance] 
[Maintenance] [Clean Pressure Roller for Fixing].

Check that usable paper is loaded in the multi-purpose tray.

Press [Start].
Cleaning starts.
When cleaning is complete, [Cleaning is complete.] is displayed and a sheet of paper with a printed image (pattern) is output.
