Reducing Toner Used When Color Printing
If you notice the following symptoms during full color printing, reducing the amount of toner may improve conditions:
Dark text or ghost images of text or lines
Streaks or uneven printing
Toner smudges and splatters
Poor toner fixing
Darkening of images printed on transparencies at the time of projection
Bleed-through appearing when copying originals from 2-sided printing
* When you print with a reduced amount of toner, color print reproduction may deteriorate.
* This function is enabled when the following color settings (color modes) are selected for printing or copying:
When [Full Color] is selected in [Select Color]
When [Auto (Color/Black & White)] is selected in [Select Color] and full color is determined automatically
