Setting Up Connection by Selecting a Wireless Router

You can search the wireless routers available for connection and select one from the display of the machine. If the security standard for your wireless LAN router is WPA/WPA2-PSK or WPA3-SAE, enter a PSK for the network key. Confirm and write down in advance information regarding your SSID, network key, security standard, or authentication/encryption method, etc. Checking the SSID and Network Key


Security settings If the wireless connection is set up by selecting a wireless router, the WPA/WPA2-PSK and WPA3-SAE encryption method is set to <Auto> (AES-CCMP). If you want to select <AES-CCMP> for WPA/WPA2-PSK and WPA3-SAE encryption, set up the connection in <Enter Manually>. Press

(Settings/Register).

Press <Preferences>

<Other (Set Manually)>.

Press <Select Access Point>.

The machine starts searching for available wireless routers.

Select a wireless router, and connect to it.

If the security setting of your wireless LAN router is WPA/WPA2-PSK or WPA3-SAE

1	Select the wireless LAN router to use, and press <OK>.
2	Press <Encryption Key>, and enter the network key.
3	Press <OK>. When the configuration is complete, the screen <Connected.> will be displayed.

If the security setting of your wireless LAN router is other than WPA/WPA2-PSK or WPA3-SAE

1	Select the wireless LAN router to use, and press <OK>. When the configuration is complete, the screen <Connected.> will be displayed.
