Distributing Device Settings Information

This section describes the procedure for distributing device settings information to supported devices.
IMPORTANT
Device settings information cannot be distributed to some models. For details, see the following.
Supported Devices (Displayed in a separate tab)

Click [Distribute].

Enter the information for the device to distribute the device settings information to.
[IP Address]
Enter the IPv4 address of the device.
IPv6 addresses are not supported.
[Administrator ID]
Enter the user name or ID of the administrator, depending on the following authentication method used in the device.
User Authentication : Enter the administrator user name registered in the device.
System Manager ID : Enter the System Manager ID registered in the device.
Domain Authentication : Enter the administrator user name registered in the device.
[Administrator Password]
Enter the password of the user entered in [Administrator ID].
The password is masked.
If an administrator password is not set, leave the password blank.
[Domain Name]
Enter the domain name of the device.
If you are not using domain authentication, leave this blank.

On the [Distribute Device Setting Values File] screen, click [OK].
After distribution, follow the instructions in the displayed dialog box to restart the device.
