Authenticate the Destination SFTP Server
By authenticating the destination SFTP server, you can prevent sending scanned data by mistake and avoid data leaks.
This section describes how to configure the settings using Remote UI from a computer.
On the control panel, select [

Settings/Registration]

[Function Settings] in the [Home] screen. However, the control panel can only be used to configure whether to authenticate the server.
[Host Authentication for SFTP TX]Administrator privileges are required.

Log in to Remote UI as an administrator.
Starting Remote UI2
On the Portal page of Remote UI, click [Settings/Registration].

Click [Send]

[Common Settings].
The [Common Settings] screen is displayed.

Select the [Use Host Authentication for SFTP TX] checkbox.

Click [Public Key Settings] in [Public Key to Use at Authentication].
The [Public Key Settings] screen is displayed.

Click [Register].
The [Register Public Key] screen is displayed.

Enter [Host Name].

Click [Choose File], and then specify the file to be installed.

Click [Start Installation].
The installed public key is registered in the host name list on the [Public Key Settings] screen.

Log out from Remote UI.
