Receiving Faxes by Operating a Handset (Remote Reception)

Remote reception is a function that enables you to receive faxes by dialing the specified number (remote reception ID) using the numeric buttons of a handset connected to the machine.
The remote reception ID is set to "25" by default. You can change it to a number of your choice. [Remote RX]

When a ring tone is emitted, pick up the handset.
If the machine has received a telephone call, take the call.

If you hear a beep, use the numeric buttons of the handset to dial the remote reception ID.
The machine starts receiving the fax. When reception is complete, the fax will be automatically printed.
If various tones are not emitted when you press the numeric buttons, press the tone button of the handset and dial the remote reception ID again.

Return the handset to the machine.
