Correcting Uneven Gloss

If uneven gloss occurs in printed images, you can perform correction.

Use the control panel to configure the settings. You cannot configure the settings using Remote UI from a computer.

Administrator or DeviceAdmin privileges are required.

On the control panel, press [

Settings/Register] in the [Home] screen or other screen. [Home] Screen

The [Settings/Registration] screen is displayed.

Press [Adjustment/Maintenance]

[Adjust Image Quality]

[Correct Uneven Gloss].

The [Correct Uneven Gloss] screen is displayed.

Select [On], then press [OK].

When [On] is selected, the productivity of the machine may be reduced.

Uneven gloss may occur if you use a paper type with [Adjust Gloss] selected. Registering Frequently Used Paper Types

Press [Close].
