Authenticating a Destination SFTP Server
Authenticating a SFTP server to connect to helps prevent erroneous sending to the wrong destination and information leaks.
This section describes how to configure the settings using Remote UI from a computer.
On the control panel, select [

Settings/Register] in the [Home] screen or other screen, and then select [Function Settings] to configure the settings. However, the control panel can only be used to select whether to authenticate a server.
[Host Authentication for SFTP TX]Administrator privileges are required.

Log in to Remote UI as an administrator.

On the Portal page of Remote UI, click [Settings/Registration].

Click [Send]

[Common Settings].
The [Common Settings] screen is displayed.

Select the [Use Host Authentication for SFTP TX] checkbox.

Click [Public Key Settings] for [Public Key to Use at Authentication].
The [Public Key Settings] screen is displayed.

Click [Register].
The [Register Public Key] screen is displayed.

Enter the host name in [Host Name].

Click [Browse File], then specify the file to install.

Click [Start Installation].
The installed public key is registered to the list of host names on the [Public Key Settings] screen.

Log out from Remote UI.
