Flow of Preparations for Faxing
This driver is a macOS fax driver for Canon devices.
It can be used to directly send faxes from a computer without printing the images and documents, etc. created in applications.
Before using the driver and sending faxes, there are preparations that need to be done beforehand.
Carry out preparations and settings in the following order.
1. Obtain an installer by one of the following methods.
Download it from the Canon website (https://global.canon/)
Supplied CD-ROM
2. Install the driver to macOS.
3. Register the fax you want to use to macOS.
4. Set the device options as necessary.
NOTEYou can check the version of the currently installed fax driver by clicking [General Settings] after clicking [Printer Options] in the [Print] dialog.
