Adding New Stamps

New text/image stamps can be added in Desktop Editor.
1.
Click  (Stamp List) on the ribbon.
Or, follow one of the steps described below.
Click for (Stamp) and select [Stamp List]
Click the  (Stamp List) on the ribbon
Select the [File] menu > [Settings/Management] > [Stamp List]
The [Stamp List] dialog box is displayed.
NOTE
If commands are not displayed on the ribbon of Desktop Editor, see the following to display them.
This operation can also be performed with the tool buttons on the toolbar. If tool buttons are not displayed in the toolbar of Desktop Editor, see the following to display them.

Click [Add].
The [Add Stamp] dialog box is displayed.

Select the new stamp type to create from [Stamp Type].
To add a text stamp: Select [Text].
To add an image stamp: Select [Image].
4.
Configure the advanced stamp settings.
Text Stamp Properties
[Stamp Name]
Enter the name of the new stamp to add using up to 31 characters. You cannot specify the same name as the name of a stamped already registered.
[Stamp text on Upper Part]
Select this check box to place text in the top area of the stamp.
[Text]
Enter the text to display in the top area of the stamp using up to 50 characters.
[Stamp date]
Select this check box to place the date in the middle area of the stamp.
[Date]
Select the date display format from the list displayed when you click .
The display format of the date depends on the settings of your computer.
[Edit Date and Time]
If you click this, the [Edit Date and Time] dialog box is displayed. You can edit the date display format in the [Edit Date and Time] dialog box. For more information, see the following.
[Stamp text on Lower Part]
Select this check box to place text in the bottom area of the stamp.
[Text]
Enter the text to display in the bottom area of the stamp using up to 50 characters.
[Font]
Select the font to use from the list displayed when you click . The list displays the fonts installed in your computer.
[Size]
Select the font size to use from the list displayed when you click . You can also enter the font size directly. Font sizes that can be configured are between 3.0 points and 72.0 points. If it is entered directly, you can enter up to a single decimal place.
[Style]
Configure the style to use. Click this button to switch between ON/OFF. You can combine more than one style.
[Bold]
Makes the string bold.
[Italic]
Makes the string italic.
[Underline]
Underlines the string.
[Strikethrough]
Adds a strikethrough to the string.
[Stamp Color]
Select the stamp color you want to use from the list displayed when you click . When you want to use a color that is not available in the list, click [More Colors].
[More Colors]
If you click this, the [Color] dialog box is displayed, and you can set a color that is not listed in [Stamp Color].
[Stamp Border]
Select the border you want to use from the list displayed when you click .
[No border]
Select this when you do not want to use a border for stamps.
[Round]
Selecting this option uses the round border for enclosing the text used in stamps.
[Box]
Selecting this option uses the box type border for enclosing the text used in stamps.
[Transparency]
The slider position and the numeric value (%) indicate the degree of transparency of the stamp. To change the degree of transparency, move the slider to left or right, or directly enter a numeric value. You can specify the degree of transparency in units of 1% by using .
Image Stamp Properties
[Stamp Name]
Enter the name of the new stamp to add using up to 31 characters. You cannot specify the same name as the name of a stamped already registered.
[File Name]
Click [Browse] and specify the image file to use in the image stamp. Or, specify the path of the image file to use in the image stamp using up to 259 characters (total number of 2-byte and 1-byte characters).
NOTE
The following image file formats can be used for image stamps.
BMP
TIFF (For a multi-page TIFF image, the first page is used. TIFF images including transparent parts also can be used.)
JPEG
PNG
GIF
The types of image files that can be inserted may increase, depending on the codecs installed in your computer.
5.
Confirm the preview display and click [OK].
The [Stamp List] dialog box is displayed again.
The stamp that you have additionally registered is displayed in [Stamp List].
6.
Click [Close].
NOTE
The stamp icons displayed in [Stamp List] in the [Stamp List] dialog box indicate the stamp type.
: It indicates the stamps that have been registered automatically during installation.
: It indicates text stamps.
: It indicates image stamps.
