NOTE
It is recommended that you set a path that does not depend on the environment for shared folders.
Files are not moved in the following cases. In these cases, manually move the files and register them using Desktop again.
When a file is saved in a location that cannot be accessed
When the file path is too long
Libraries
Cancel the registered libraries from Desktop in the source environment.
Back up the folders that were used as libraries, and after migrating the settings, copy them to the destination computer and register them as libraries again.
Hot Folder
Back up each Hot Folder that was set locally (source folders/target folders), and after migrating the settings, copy them to the destination computer.
NOTE
Files under the "My Documents" folder (Windows 7/Windows 8/Windows 8.1) and "Document" folder (Windows 10) created by Windows in the source environment should be placed under the corresponding folder created by Windows in the target environment.
NOTE
For information on license management operations, see "License Registration Guide".
NOTE
The My Library data is created immediately below the "My Documents" folder (Windows 7/Windows 8/Windows 8.1) or "Document" folder (Windows 10).
NOTE
If no My Library folder exists in the target environment, create a folder and register it as a library in Desktop again. You may be required to update settings when using a Document Destination Folder.
IMPORTANT
If the above items were already set in the target computer, the default values are restored when you execute the migration. Set/register them again as required.
IMPORTANT
Libraries, hot folders, Personal buttons, etc. set with a local path in the source environment are not migrated. Also, information registered in the destination Desktop is replaced by the default values when you distribute the settings. Set/register them again as required.
