Setting the User Name to Use When Inserting Annotations

The user name logged in to the computer is used as the user name when inserting annotations. The user name used when inserting annotations can be changed in the system settings.
1.
[Settings] > [System Settings] > [Annotation Editor] > [Options] > [User Name]
Select [Use custom user name].
2.
Enter the user name to use in [User Name].
3.
Click [OK].
Note
If you want to use the user name logged in to the computer, select [Use login user name] in [System Settings].
[Settings] > [System Settings] > [Annotation Editor] > [Options] > [User Name] > [Use custom user name]

Changing the User Name of an Inserted Annotation

You can change the user name of an annotation that has been inserted.
1.
Click  (Select Object) in the Object Palette Pane.
Or, click  (Select Text) in the Object Palette Pane.

Move the mouse pointer on a desired annotation to change the properties of in the Work Pane, and click the mouse when the shape of the mouse pointer changes to .
Or, drag the mouse pointer selection rectangle to include the desired annotation.
Note
Multiple annotations can be selected by left-clicking them while holding down one of the following keys.
The [Shift] key on the keyboard
The [Ctrl] key on the keyboard

Select the [Annotation] menu > [User Name Settings].
Or, follow one of the steps described below.
Right-click and select [User Name Settings].
Right-click the [Annotation List] and select [User Name Settings].
The [User Name Settings] dialog box is displayed.
Note
You cannot select multiple annotations in the [Annotation List].
4.
Enter the new user name in [User Name].
5.
Click [OK].
Note
If you change the user name with multiple annotations selected, the user name is changed for all the selected annotations.
The user name can also be changed for annotations added with something other than Annotation Editor.
