Enlarging/Reducing the Size of Variable Fields

You can change the size of variable fields inserted with the Variable Editor.
1.
Click (Select Fields) on the Object Palette Pane.

Move the mouse on a desired variable field to change the size of in the Work Pane, and click the mouse when the shape of the mouse pointer changes to .
Drag the mouse pointer selection rectangle to include the variable field whose size you want to change.
Note
Resizing can be performed on a single variable field. When multiple variable fields are selected, the operation is only performed on the variable field displayed foremost among the selected variable fields.

Move the mouse pointer to the displayed handle (.)
The shape of the mouse pointer becomes ,,, and .
4.
Drag the handle to a desired position to change the length of the line.
Note
The variable field cannot be reduced to a size less than 40 pixels x 40 pixels.
When you perform operations with the handle while holding down the [Shift] key on the keyboard, the size of the variable field is enlarged/reduced while the aspect ratio is maintained.
To cancel the size changing process, press the [Esc] key on the keyboard during the drag operation.
5.
Click on the Work Pane outside the resized variable field to deselect it.
