Document Jams in the Feeder
Follow onscreen instructions as well as the ones provided in this section to remove jammed documents.

Remove the document loaded in the feeder.

Open the feeder cover.

Move the release lever (A) to the position shown in the figure.

Remove the jammed document by pulling it gently.

Open the inner cover.

Remove the jammed document by pulling it gently.

Lift the document feeder tray and remove the document by pulling it gently.

Put the document feeder tray back into place.

Close inner cover.

Close the feeder cover.

Open the feeder or the platen glass cover and remove the document by pulling it gently.

Close the feeder or the platen glass cover gently.

Place documents in the feeder.
