Starting the Setup Guide

You can configure the machine's initial settings by using the Setup Guide.
NOTE
When the Setup Guide is started and closed, the machine will restart. Before the machine is restarted, make sure that there are no jobs currently in progress.
This mode is not available if login authentication (authenticated by SSO-H or Department ID Management, or by control cards) is enabled.

Press (Settings/Registration).
2.
Press [Management Settings] → [License/Other] → [Start Setup Guide].
3.
Press [Start].
Press [Start] to restart the machine and display the Setup Guide.
Once all the settings have been configured with the Setup Guide, the machine will once again restart.
The Setup Guide displays the settings to be configured in the following order.

Set the paper size for each paper drawer.
You can close the Setup Guide here. To close the Setup Guide, press [End].

<Date/Time Settings>
Set the date and time.
The Log In screen is displayed. Log in as an administrator.
System Manager

<Use IP Address>
Specify IPv4 and/or IPv6, and each IP address.

<DNS Server Address Settings>
Configure the DNS Server Address Settings, the DNS Host/Domain Name Settings, and the DNS Dynamic Update Settings.

<Proxy Settings>
Specify the Proxy Settings.

<Country/Region>
Set the country/region.

<Register Unit Telephone Number>
Enter the phone number for the machine.

<Register Unit Name>
Enter the name the machine will appear as on the network.

<Select Line Type>
Select line Type

<System Manager Information Settings>
Configure the System Manager Settings.

<Auto Adjust Gradation>
Automatically adjust the gradation and density settings of the machine.
