Specifying Authentication Method for Advanced Space

You can specify the authentication method for accessing the Advanced Space.
IMPORTANT
You can set [Use integrated authentication] in the following cases:
If you manage users by login service, such as SSO-H
If the login name and password for accessing the machine are the same as those that registered in [User Access Control for Advanced Space]
If you access to the Advanced Space using the touch panel display
This setting is invalid if you access to the Advanced Space from the Remote UI.

Start your Web browser → enter the following URL in the address bar.
http://<IP address of the machine or host name>
NOTE
You can also log in by entering the URL of [User Access Control for Advanced Space] in the address bar, as indicated below. (Case sensitive.)
http://<IP address or host name of the machine>:8000/uactrl/

Select [System Manager Mode] → enter <System Manager ID:> and <System Manager PIN:> → click [Log In].
The following screen displays the default settings. If the Department ID Management or authentication for SSO-H is set, enter the necessary items for each log in.

Click [User Access Control for Advanced Space] from the Basic Tools.

Click [Authentication Method and Log Management].

Select the authentication method → click [Update].

If you want to use Integrated Authentication:
Select [Use integrated authentication].
If you do not want to use Integrated Authentication:
Deselect [Use integrated authentication].
