Changing the Settings Using Web Browser (Remote UI)

Start the Remote UI, and then log in as Administrator.

Select [Network] from the [Device Manager] menu.

Click [Ethernet Driver Setting].

Configure the Ethernet driver.

Select an Ethernet type.

	This printer can detect the communication method and Ethernet type automatically. Normally, select [Auto Detect]. If you want to fix the communication method and Ethernet type, configure the Ethernet driver manually.
	If you set the Ethernet type to [10 Base-T (Half Duplex) or [100 Base-TX (Half Duplex)] manually, data is received and transmitted alternately, not simultaneously. If you set the Ethernet type to [10 Base-T (Full Duplex) or [100 Base-TX (Full Duplex)], data is received and transmitted simultaneously.

Click [OK].

Perform a hard reset or restart the printer.

→	After performing a hard reset or restarting the printer, the settings are effective.

NOTE

You can perform a hard reset using the following procedure.

1.	Select [Status] from the [Device Manager] menu.
2.	Click [Device Control].
3.	Select [Hard Reset], then click [Execute].
