Removing NB-W2
Remove NB-W2 using the following procedure. Have the removed protective plate and screws ready.

Before removing NB-W2, see "Attention (Printer Installation)."

Turn the printer OFF, then disconnect the cables or cords from the printer.

Shut down the printer before turning it OFF.

USB cable*

(2) Turn the computer OFF.
(3) Disconnect the cable from the printer.
|
|
LAN cable*
|
(4) Disconnect the cable from the printer.
|
|
Power cord
|
(5) Disconnect the power plug from the AC power outlet.
(6) Disconnect the cord from the printer.
|

Whether the cable is connected or not varies depending on your environment.

Rotate the antenna to an angle for easy access, and then remove the two screws on the top and bottom of NB-W2.

IMPORTANT
|
About removed screwsRemoved screws are required after NB-W2 is removed.
Be sure not to misplace them.

Pull out NB-W2.
Put the removed NB-W2 in the original protective bag.

Install the protective plate for the expansion slot, and then secure it with the screws.

Connect the removed cables and cords.

Connect to the USB connector on the printer.

Connect to the LAN connector on the printer.

Power cord
|
(1) Plug the power cord to the power socket on the printer.
(2) Plug the power plug into the AC power outlet.
