Checking the RAM or ROM Installation

After installing a RAM or ROM module, print Configuration Page to check if the module is installed properly.
NOTE
Load A4 size paper.
Configuration Page is designed to be printed on A4 size paper.
Be sure to load A4 size paper when printing the Configuration Page.

Load A4 size paper in the multi-purpose tray or paper cassette.

Make sure that the printer is online.
If the printer is not online, press [  ] (: Online).

Press [  ] (: Utility).

Select [Configuration Page] using [  ] and [  ], and then press [OK].

Select [Yes] using [  ], and then press [OK] to print Configuration Page.
NOTE
How to check the installation
RAM: Confirm that any of the following values is displayed in [RAM Size] (A).

ER-64
192 MB
ER-128
256 MB
ER-256
384 MB

If the correct value is not displayed, see "Removing RAM or ROM" and remove the RAM module once.
ROM: Confirm that [PS] is displayed in [Controller] (B).

If [PS] is not displayed, see "Removing RAM or ROM" and remove the ROM module once.
