Sending an E-mail to Multiple Destinations

If you register a group that includes multiple e-mail addresses in the address book, you can send to all of the e-mail addresses included in that group at once by selecting that group as the destination.

Required Condition

NOTE
The Send function can be used on this machine.
Network settings are set.
E-mail settings are set.
This section describes how to store three previously registered e-mail addresses as "Group 1," and send an e-mail to that group.
Follow the procedures below.

Follow the procedure below to set the items on the Settings/Registration screen.
Press (Settings/Registration).
Press [Set Destination] → [Register Destinations] → [Register New Dest.].
Press [Group].

Follow the procedure below to enter the name for the new group.
Press [Name].
Enter 'Group 1' → press [Next].
Press [Next].

Press [Add from Address Book] → select three e-mail addresses that you want to store in the group → press [OK].
A new group destination is registered.

Place your originals.

Press [Scan and Send].
NOTE
If the Main Menu screen is not displayed, press (Main Menu).

Press [Address Book] → press the drop-down list → select .
7.
Select the newly registered destination [Group 1] → press [OK].
8.
Press (Start).
An e-mail is sent.
9.
Press (Status Monitor/Cancel).
10.
Press [Send] → [Log].
Check whether the e-mail sending was successful.
If the result is <OK>, the job was sent successfully.
If the result is <NG>, the job was not sent because of an error.
