Selecting Presets for Printing (Mac)
You can save the settings specified in each panel of the Mac Print dialog as presets. A preset is a combination of frequently used print functions saved as a single setting. You can easily specify print settings according to your needs simply by selecting a preset registered in advance.

This section describes the procedure for registering two-sided black-and-white printing as a preset, and selecting the registered preset for printing.

Registering a Preset
1.
From the [File] menu of the application software you are using for the document to print → select [Print].
The [Print] dialog box is displayed.

The display may differ according to the operating system, as well as the type and version of the printer driver.

Select the printer to use → select the [Quality].
The [Quality] panel is displayed.

Press the <Color Mode> drop-down list in the [Quality] panel → select [Black and White].

Select the [Finishing].
The [Finishing] panel is displayed.
5.
Press the <Print Style> drop-down list in the [Finishing] panel → select [2-sided Printing].
6.
Press the <Presets> drop-down list → select [Save As].
7.
Enter <mono/2-sided> in [Save Preset As] → click [OK].
The preset is saved.

From the [File] menu of the application software you are using for the document to print → select [Print].
The [Print] dialog box is displayed.

Select the printer to use → press the <Presets> drop-down list → select [mono/2-sided].
10.
Click [Print].
The document is printed in black-and-white with two-sided printing.
