Adding Cover Sheets or Sheet Insertions
This mode enables you to collate copies by pages or copy sets. You can select the stapling position when stapling the output. You can also output the copy sets with alternating orientations, and shift the output forward each specified number of copy sets.
Page Order (Collate)
When printing multiple copies of an original, you can collate the output into separate copies.
Same Page (Group)
When printing multiple copies of an original, you can group each page together.
Page Order (Staple)
When printing multiple copies of an original, you can staple the output for separate copies.
If you select [Corner]:
Staples the output in one location.
If you select [Double]:
Staples the output in two locations, on the left or right side.
You can copy on the cover. You can select coloured paper, heavy paper, and other paper types for the cover.
This mode enables you to insert a sheet of paper between copies. This is useful when you want to use a blank sheet to sort copies. You can also copy on the sheet insertions. The Chapter Page mode always copies on one side of the sheet insertion. This is useful when you want to organize the copies by chapter.
When copying on transparencies, you can insert a blank sheet of paper between the transparencies. You can also copy on the inserted sheets.
If you do not want to print on the inserted sheets:
Use the [Leave Blank] setting to output printed transparencies and blank interleaf sheets alternately.
If you want to print on the inserted sheets:
Use the [Print] setting to output printed transparencies and printed interleaf sheets alternately.
