Setting PDF Linked with Rights Management Server
This section explains how to set the Adobe LiveCycle Rights Management ES server which is needed to send PDF linked with Rights Management Server, and how to set the user name and password to connect to the Adobe LiveCycle Rights Management ES server. For information on sending PDF linked with Rights Management Server, see "Apply Policy."

To generate PDF linked with Rights Management Server, the Adobe LiveCycle Rights Management ES server and the machine must be connected via the intranet or internet.

This mode cannot be used with the default setting. Also, the Adobe LiveCycle Rights Management ES is necessary. Contact your local authorized Canon dealer.

Press 
(Settings/Registration).
(Settings/Registration).2.
Press [Function Settings] → [Common] → [Generate File].

Press [Rights Management Server Settings].
4.
Enter the URL for Adobe LiveCycle Rights Management ES server, and the user name/password to access the server.

If the [Use Password for Each User] is set to 'On', you can set a different password for each user.
If the Adobe LiveCycle Rights Management ES server is set and you press [Scan and Send] → [File Format] → [Apply Policy] on the control panel, the authentication screen is displayed.
