IMPORTANT
|
[Select Paper] must be set to [Auto].

IMPORTANT
|
For information on the modes which cannot be set in combination with this mode, see "Combination of Functions Chart."
If you are reducing A3 or B4 originals to A4 or B5 with [Auto Orientation] in [Function Settings] (Settings/Registration) set to 'Off', load A4R or B5R paper in a paper drawer or the multi-purpose tray.
You cannot copy highly transparent originals, such as transparencies, in the Auto Zoom mode. Use the Preset Zoom or Zoom by Percentage mode.
The original sizes you can use automatically are as follows:
A3, B4, A4, A4R, B5, B5R, A5, A5R, A6R (You can place A6R originals only on the platen glass.)

If the output size differs from your specified copy ratio, you can adjust it using [Fine Adjust Zoom] in [Adjustment/Maintenance] (Settings/Registration). (See "Fine Adjust Zoom.")
The reduction ratios when the Fit to Page mode is specified are:
A3/B4: about 98%
A4/B5: about 97%
