Red-Eye Correction

Detects and corrects red-eyes on photographs occurred because of the flash or electronic flash when photographing. You can also make corrections when only half of the face is shown on the photograph.
You can specify the settings for each type of data: [Red-Eye Correction] and [Red-Eye Correction Level].

[Red-Eye Correction]

[On]: Red-eye correction is performed on the image.
[Off]: Red-eye correction is not performed.

[Red-Eye Correction Level]

To activate the setting for [Red-eye Correction Level], set [Red-eye Correction] to [On].
[Weak]: Correction level is small.
[Standard]: Correction level is between [Weak] and [Strong].
[Strong]: Correction level is big.

Face Brightener


[Face Brightener]:

[Face Brightener Level]:
[Weak], [Standard]*, [Strong]

If faces in the photographs appear dark because of backlight or underexposure, you can correct the brightness of the entire image to obtain the desired brightness for faces.
You can specify the settings for each type of data: [Face Brightener] and [Face Brightener Level].

[Face Brightener]

[On]: Face Brightener is performed on the image.
[Off]: Face Brightener is not performed.

[Face Brightener Level]

To activate the setting for [Face Brightener Level], set [Face Brightener Correction] to [On].
[Weak]: Correction level is small.
[Standard]: Correction level is between [Weak] and [Strong].
[Strong]: Correction level is big.

NOTE
The Photo Optimizer PRO mode is invalid for black-and-white data.
If you set the colour mode to [Black and White], the Photo Optimizer PRO mode is invalid.
The Red-Eye Correction mode is invalid for black-and-white data.
If you set the colour mode to [Black and White], the Red-Eye Correction mode is invalid.
The effect of the Red Eye Correction differs, depending on the data.
The Face Brightener mode is invalid for black-and-white data.
If you set the colour mode to [Black and White], the Face Brightener mode is invalid.
