[Profile]
Selecting a profile applies the registered settings. This is useful for saving frequently used settings.
[Add]
Enables you to register the current settings as a profile. You can set the name etc. in the [Add Profile] Dialog Box.
[Edit]
Enables you to edit, import, and export profiles in the [Edit Profile] Dialog Box.
[Output Method]
Enables you to select the method for outputting print data.
[Print]
Performs normal printing.
[Hold]
Saves print data temporarily in a hold queue in the printer. This function is useful when you want to perform proof printing. You can set a data name in the [Hold Details] Dialog Box by clicking [Details].
[Secured Print]
Attaches a PIN (password) to the print data and stores it in the printer. This function is useful when printing confidential documents etc. You can set the user name and PIN or password by clicking [Details].
[Store]
Stores the print data in a box in the printer. You can set the storage destination by clicking [Details] ([Store Details] Dialog Box).
[Promote Print]
Prints the print job before other print jobs after the current print job is finished.
[Edit and Preview]
Combines multiple files into one when printing. You can also view a print preview and change the print settings. Clicking [Details] enables you to set the output method after Edit and Preview. If you select [Lock], [Output Method] is locked in [Edit and Preview] mode. This function is useful for restricting the output methods of clients in a shared printer environment.

[Lock] can only be set when the printer driver screen is displayed from the Start menu (see Changing the Default Settings).

[Rendering Rate]
Enables you to set the image rasterizing method for converting color documents to grayscale documents.
[Resolution]
Enables you to select the dpi (dots per inch) setting at which the image is to be printed. Higher resolution takes longer to print, but produces a higher quality printout. Lower resolution prints faster, but produces a lower quality printout.
[Halftones]
Enables you to specify dither patterns for representing halftones (areas between dark areas and light areas).
[Printer Default]
Uses the printer setting.
[Resolution]
Uses a dither pattern that gives priority to resolution. Prints contours smoothly. This setting is suitable for printing general documents and graphics (text and diagrams) etc.
[High Resolution]
Uses a dither pattern with more lines than [Resolution]. This setting is suitable for printing documents containing small text, fine lines, and diagrams such as CAD drawings that require sharp contours.
[Gradation]
Uses a dither pattern that gives priority to gradation. This setting is suitable for printing smooth gradations.
[Error Diffusion]
Uses a dither pattern that gives priority to error diffusion, which is excellent for representing subtlety. This setting is suitable for printing small text and fine lines.

[Custom]
Click [Settings] to specify the number of lines and angle for halftone printing.
[Toner Save]
Enables you to use the printer's toner save function.
[Advanced Smoothing]
Creates smooth outlines in graphics and text that normally appear jagged when printed.
[Print as Negative Image]
Prints a negative image of the document by reversing the black-and-white values.
[Print as Mirror Image]
Prints a mirror image of the document by flipping the image horizontally.
[Manual Grayscale Adjustment]
Enables you to set the grayscale settings manually. Clicking [Grayscale Adjustment] displays a dialog box for setting the grayscale settings.
[Advanced Settings]
Enables you to configure more detailed print quality settings.
[Add-in Information]
Displays information concerning add-in modules (expanded functions) added to the printer driver.
[About]
Displays the version of the printer driver.
[Restore Defaults]
Returns all the settings to their standard (default) values.
[View Settings]
Enables you to check the current settings in a list.
