Machine Connection Method (LPD/RAW)
You can select the following printing methods using a TCP/IP network.

Start the Remote UI, and then log on in system manager mode.

Click [Settings/Registration].

Click [Network Settings] for <System Management Settings>.

Click [TCP/IP Settings].

Click [Edit...] for [LPD Print Settings] or [RAW Print Settings] of [TCP/IP Settings].

Configure the protocol settings.
Setting LPD printing:

When using LPD printing:
Select the [Use LPD Printing] check box. When not using LPD printing:
Clear the [Use LPD Printing] check box.  |

Proceed to step 7 if you are not specifying the settings for the other options.

Setting RAW printing:

When using RAW printing:
Select the [Use RAW Printing] check box. When not using RAW printing:
Clear the [Use RAW Printing] check box.  |

Click [OK].

Restart the machine.
It is necessary to restart the machine to take effect the settings.
Turn OFF the machine and wait for at least 10 seconds before turning it back ON.
