Setting the System Manager Information

Before setting the system manager information, see "Attention (Specifying the System Manager Information)."

Specify the system manager information for the machine. The items you can specify are as follows.
For the imageRUNNER 2202N/2002N:
System Manager ID and PIN
System Manager Name
If you set the System Manager ID and PIN, you can operate the <System Management Settings> menu only when you enter the System Manager ID and PIN.
For the imageRUNNER 2002:
System Manager PIN
If you set the System Manager PIN, you can operate the <System Management Settings> menu only when you enter the System Manager PIN.

Use the numeric keys to enter the System Manager ID and PIN, and then press [OK].
Press 
(Log In/Out).

Press [] to highlight <Apply>, and then press [OK].

Specify the system manager information.
For the imageRUNNER 2202N/2002N:
To set <System Manager ID and PIN>:

Use the numeric keys to enter the System Manager ID, and then press [OK].

Use the numeric keys to enter the System Manager PIN, and then press [OK].
Up to seven digits can be entered.
Pressing [OK] displays the confirmation screen. Enter the PIN again, and then press [OK].

For the imageRUNNER 2002:
To set <System Manager PIN>:

] or [] to to enter the System Manager PIN, and then press [OK].Pressing <Apply> displays the confirmation screen. Enter the PIN again, and then press <Apply>.

To clear a set PIN:
For the imageRUNNER 2202N/2002N:
Press [
] (Clear) to delete the PIN, and then press [OK].
] (Clear) to delete the PIN, and then press [OK].
For the imageRUNNER 2002:
If you do not want to specify a PIN, select <Apply> with the PIN left blank, and then press [OK].
If you are using the imageRUNNER 2002, proceed to step 5.
If you specify <System Manager Name>:

Specify the system manager name.
Up to 32 characters can be entered.
When you are finished entering, press [
] or [] to highlight <Apply>, and then press [OK]. |
Press [] (Settings/Registration) to close the Settings/Registration screen.
