Saddle Stitch Position Adjustment

If a slight gap occurs in the saddle stitch position and at the center of the paper, change the saddle stitch position in the paper configured in the registered user settings.

This mode can be set when the Saddle Finisher-AN2 is attached. (See "Finisher-AN1/Saddle Finisher-AN2/Puncher Unit-BS1/Puncher Unit-BT1," )

IMPORTANT
If the Saddle Finisher-AN2 is attached to the machine, you can adjust both the stitch position and the fold placement. If both the saddle stitch position and the fold placement are not aligned with the center of the paper, adjust the fold placement to match the saddle stitch position with [<Adjust Saddle Stitch Fold Position>] and then adjust the saddle stitch position and the fold placement in[<Change Fold/Stitch Position>]. [<Adjust Saddle Stitch Fold Position>] adjusts only the fold placement, while [<Change Fold/Stitch Position>] adjusts both the saddle stitch and fold placement. IMPORTANT

If the Saddle Finisher-AN2 is attached to the machine, you can adjust both the stitch position and the fold placement.

If both the saddle stitch position and the fold placement are not aligned with the center of the paper, adjust the fold placement to match the saddle stitch position with [<Adjust Saddle Stitch Fold Position>] and then adjust the saddle stitch position and the fold placement in[<Change Fold/Stitch Position>]. [<Adjust Saddle Stitch Fold Position>] adjusts only the fold placement, while [<Change Fold/Stitch Position>] adjusts both the saddle stitch and fold placement. Press

(Settings/Registration).

Press [Adjustment/Maintenance] → [Adjust Action] → [Change Fold/Stitch Position].

Select the paper size to change → adjust the saddle stitch position by pressing [

] or [

] → press [OK].
