Adjusting the Saddle Stitch Fold Placement
If you notice that the folds of the paper are not in the centre of the booklet, but the stitches are in the centre, you can make adjustments to the saddle stitch fold placement on the custom paper type.
This mode can be set when the Saddle Finisher-AN2 is attached. (See "Finisher-AN1/Saddle Finisher-AN2/Puncher Unit-BS1/Puncher Unit-BT1.")

If both the saddle stitch position and fold placement are not aligned with the centre of the paper, match the fold placement to the saddle stitch position according to <Adj. Saddle Stitch Fold Pos.>, and then adjust the saddle stitch position and fold placement according to <Change Fold/Stitch Position>. <Adj. Saddle Stitch Fold Pos.> adjusts only the fold placement, while <Change Fold/Stitch Position> adjusts both the saddle stitch position and the fold placement. Press [Preferences] → [Paper Settings] → [Paper Type Management Settings].

Select the paper type that you want to edit from the list → press [Details/ Edit].

Press [Change] for <Adj. Saddle Stitch Fold Pos.>.

] to adjust the saddle stitch fold placement → [OK].

If you want the saddle fold to shift to the left, decrease the setting value.
