Registering/Editing/Deleting User-Defined Text for Page Numbers and Watermarks

You can register/edit/delete characters to be placed on your documents using the Page Numbering, Copy Set Numbering, Watermark, Print Date, or Secure Watermark mode. For instructions on using the Page/Copy Set Numbering, Print Watermark/Date, and Secure Watermark modes, see "Page Numbering," "Watermark Printing," and "Adding a Secure Watermark."

Press (Settings/Registration).

Press [Function Settings] → [Common] → [Print Settings].

Press [Register Characters for Page No./Watermark].
To register text:
To edit text:
To delete text:
To register text:
Press [Register] → enter the text → press [OK].
To edit text:
Select the text to edit → press [Edit].
Enter new text as necessary → press [OK].
To delete text:
Select the text to delete → press [Delete].
Press [Yes].

Press [Close].

NOTE
You can register up to 30 user-defined text strings for watermarks and page numbers.
