Setting the Output Trays of Optional Equipment
Set this mode when you want to use the output trays of optional equipment.
This setting enables you to select the output trays of optional equipment to output paper.
This mode can be set when the Inner 2way Tray-J1, Copy Tray-J2, or Inner Finisher-G1 is attached. (See Inner 2way Tray-J1, Copy Tray-J2, or Inner Finisher-G1.)

Specify the correct setting for the optional equipment that is attached. If you set the output tray of optional equipment that is not attached, the machine may not be able to output paper correctly.
This setting is not displayed when the Staple Finisher-U1 or Booklet Finisher-U1 is attached.

The output tray settings can only be specified by a user with administrator privileges.

Press 
(Settings/Registration).
(Settings/Registration).2.
Press [Function Settings] → [Common] → [Paper Output Settings].

Press [Use Optional Output Tray].
4.
Select [On] for the output tray to use → press [OK].
The displayed output tray varies, depending on the attached options, as follows:
When the Inner Finisher-G1 is attached: Output Tray 1 only
When the Inner 2way Tray-J1 or Copy Tray-J2 is attached: Output Tray 1, Output Tray 2

Turn the main power switch OFF and then ON again.
