Common Problems
If you encounter problems when using the machine, check the items in this section before contacting us. If the problems persist, contact your local authorized Canon dealer or the Canon help line.
Check the Following
Is the machine turned ON? / Is the power cord connected?
The
(Power) indicator does not light if the machine is not turned ON. If the machine does not respond when you press the power switch, check to make sure that the power cord is connected correctly and then try again to turn the power ON.
Turning the Power ON
Is the machine connected via wireless LAN, a LAN cable or a USB cable?
Does the Printer Status Window display an error message?
If a problem persists even after checking
