Fax TX Settings

NOTE
Menu options in the following chart:
Default settings are highlighted in bold.
For values with "*1" mark, the default value varies depending on the country where you are using the machine.
For settings or values with "*2" mark, the setting or value may be unavailable or vary depending on the country where you are using the machine.

Basic Settings

Register Unit Name
Set your name or your company's name as the machine name (sender's name):
Register Unit Telephone Number
Set a fax number for the machine:

Public Line Connection
If the external telephone does not ring or you cannot make a call using the external telephone when the fax receive mode is set to <Fax/Tel Auto Switch>, set <Public Line Connection> settings to <Adapter 1> or <Adapter 2>:
Direct, Adapter 1, Adapter 2
Off-Hook Alarm
Set whether or not to sound an alarm when the telephone handset is off the hook and adjust the volume:
Off
On:
Off-Hook Alarm Volume: 1 to 5
Sender ID
Set whether or not to add sender information to faxes. This helps the recipient to identify the sender:
Off, On
Print Location
Select the location where the Sender ID is printed:
On Image, Above Image
Mark No. as: TEL/FAX
Select the text to add in front of the number:
FAX, TEL

1 to 2 to 10 (times)
Redial Interval
Set the interval between redials:
2*1 to 99 (minutes)
Redial When Err Occurs
Set whether or not to redial when a send error occurs:
Off, On
Check Dial Tone Before Sending
Set whether or not verify a dial tone before dialing fax numbers:
Off*1, On
