[User Authentication Settings] Dialog Box

Enables you to set a password etc. to be used during user authentication.

Descriptions of Settings

[Allow Password Settings]

Select this when setting a password. If you do not set a password here, you will have to enter a password every time you print.

[User Name]

The user name set in the [User Information Settings] dialog box is displayed.

[Password]

If you have selected [Allow Password Settings], this sets a password.

[Verify]

Checks the setting at the device.

[Confirm Authentication Information When Printing]

Displays a dialog box for confirming the authentication information when printing.

[Display Confirm Dialog]

Enables you to select the timing at which the confirmation dialog box is displayed from [Every Time], [First Time Only after Logging on], or [Only When the Date Changes].

[Perform Authentication at Device]

Performs authentication of the department ID and PIN at the device.
