Folding

You can fold printed sheets of paper into a variety of patterns.
C-fold
Z-fold
Half Fold/Saddle Fold
Accordion Z-fold
Double Parallel Fold
1.
Display the [Finishing] tab.
2.
Select the folding type from [Fold].
3.
If you want to specify the folding direction, click [Fold Details] → select a pattern → click [OK].
When options are supported, the maximum limit of [Saddle Fold] - [Fold Details] dialog box - [Sheets per Set] varies depending on the [Device Settings] - [Details] - [Finishing] - [Sheets per Set for Booklet Printing] settings.

Required Conditions
Select a fold pattern from [Device Settings] tab → [Fold].
Required Options
Paper folding unit (or document insertion/folding unit) and finisher.

Supported sizes:
C-fold: A4R and LetterR.
Z-fold: A3, B4, A4R, 11x17, Legal, and LetterR (you can use [Hole Punch] only with A3, B4, 11x17, and Legal).
Saddle fold: A3, B4, A4R, 11x17, Legal, LetterR, 12x18, SRA3, and 13x19
Half fold: Double parallel fold: A4R and Letter R
Double Parallel Fold: A4R, Letter R, and Legal.

When stapling the output, the folding orientation for Z-fold depends on the position of the staple(s).
