About Licenses

A license is something that gives you the authority to use Desktop.
License retrieval is required before you can use Desktop. Desktop can only be used on the computer where the license was retrieved.
There are two license models: node lock licenses and floating licenses. The method for performing license authentication differs according to your environment. For more information, see the following.
IMPORTANT
If the time settings on the computer where Desktop is installed are off by more than 5 minutes from the actual time, you must reset the system clock to the correct time and time zone setting. If the system clock of the computer where Desktop is installed is off by a large amount, problems may arise such as Desktop not running correctly.
Furthermore, extra care is required when launching the software for the first time, because once the software has been run with time settings that are different from the actual time, Desktop may stop working when the time settings are set to the correct time.
Operation is not guaranteed if Ethernet information cannot be correctly retrieved.
The customers shall be responsible for managing items such as license expiration dates and the number of authorized licenses.
