NOTE
Make sure that the names of printers, fax machines, and scanners are the same in the target environment and source environment.
NOTE
It is recommended that you set a path that does not depend on the environment for shared folders.
Files are not moved in the following cases. In these cases, manually move the files and register them using Desktop again.
When a file is saved in a location that cannot be accessed
When the file path is too long
Libraries
Cancel the registered libraries from Desktop in the source environment.
Back up the folders that were used as libraries, and after migrating the settings, copy them to the destination computer and register them as libraries again.
Hot Folder
Back up each Hot Folder that was set locally (source folders/target folders), and after migrating the settings, copy them to the destination computer.
NOTE
Files under the "My Documents" folder (Windows 7/Windows 8.1) and "Document" folder (Windows 10) created by Windows in the source environment should be placed under the corresponding folder created by Windows in the target environment.
NOTE
For information on license management operations, see "Software License Registration Guide".
NOTE
The My Library data is created immediately below the "My Documents" folder (Windows 7/Windows 8.1) or "Document" folder (Windows 10).
If you were using a Document Destination Folder, the settings may need to be updated.
IMPORTANT
If the above items were already set in the target computer, the default values are restored when you execute the migration. Set/register them again as required.
IMPORTANT
The following information that was registered in Desktop in the target environment is returned to its default values when the import process is executed. Configure or register these settings again, as necessary.
