Moving/Duplicating Pages

You can move/duplicate a page at one of the following locations: a.) on the [Page Tree] tab on the Navigation Window displayed in the Print Mode, b.) on the Work Window, or c.) on the [Thumbnails] tab on the Navigation Window displayed in the Annotations Mode.

The following locations can be dragged and dropped to when moving/duplicating a page.
Yes: Can be dropped. Yes (no caret): Can be dropped (caret not displayed). No: Cannot be dropped. -: Cannot be operated.

*1 If the display position of the caret is between two chapters, an item is moved/duplicated at the end of the first chapter. If the display position of the caret is at the beginning of a document, an item is moved/duplicated as the first chapter.
*2 Can only be dropped if there is no page in the Work Window.
The mouse cursor displayed when dragging and dropping changes according to the situation as follows.

You can move/duplicate pages within the same document.

Moving/Duplicating Pages Within the Same Document in the Print Mode

1.
Select the page to move/duplicate on the [Page Tree] tab on the Navigation Window.
Or, follow one of the steps described below.
On the Work Window, select the page to be moved
On the Work Window, click and drag the mouse pointer to select the page you want to move
NOTE
If the [Page Tree] tab on the Navigation Window is not displayed, see the following.
For information on how to select a page, see the following.

Drag and drop the selected page to the desired position on the [Page Tree] tab on the Navigation Window.
Or, drag and drop the selected page to the desired position on the Work Window.
When duplicating pages, do one of the following.
Drag and drop the selected page to the desired destination on the [Page Tree] tab on the Navigation Window while holding down the [Ctrl] key on the keyboard
Drag and drop the selected page to the desired position on the Work Window while holding down the [Ctrl] key on the keyboard
The page is moved/duplicated, and the page numbers are corrected.
NOTE
You can undo or redo the last operation by selecting the [Undo]/[Redo] tool button.
If a Mail Merge field is set in a page, that Mail Merge field is also moved/copied.
When duplicating a page with digital stamps attached, the digital signatures of digital stamps become invalid.

Select the page to move/duplicate on the [Thumbnails] tab on the Navigation Window.
NOTE
If the [Thumbnails] tab on the Navigation Window is not displayed, see the following.

Drag and drop the selected page to the desired position on the [Thumbnails] tab on the Navigation Window.
When duplicating a page, drag and drop the selected page to the desired destination on the [Thumbnails] tab on the Navigation Window while holding down the [Ctrl] key on the keyboard.

Select the page to move/duplicate on the [Page Tree] tab on the Navigation Window.
Or, follow one of the steps described below.
On the Work Window, select the page to be moved
On the Work Window, click and drag the mouse pointer to select the page you want to move

Drag and drop the selected page to the desired position on the [Thumbnails] tab in the Annotation Mode displayed for a different document while holding down the [Shift] key on the keyboard
When duplicating pages, do one of the following.
Drag and drop the selected page to the desired position in [Page Tree] of another document
Drag and drop the selected page to the desired position on the Work Window of the Print Mode displayed for another document
Drag and drop the selected page to the desired position on the [Thumbnails] tab in the Annotation Mode displayed for another document
The page is moved/duplicated, and the page numbers are corrected.
NOTE
The [Page Tree] of another document to which pages are moved/duplicated to is displayed on the [Page Tree] tab on the Navigation Window displayed in the Print Mode.
You can undo or redo the last operation by selecting the [Undo]/[Redo] tool button.
If you use [Undo] in the source document, the moved page is restored, but the page remains in the destination document.
When using [Undo] in the document that you duplicated a page from, the page remains in the destination document.
If a Mail Merge field is set in a page, that Mail Merge field is deleted when moving/copying.
When moving/duplicating a page with digital stamps attached, the digital signatures of digital stamps become invalid.
