Margins
Margins for this function refer to the space above and below objects such as images and text. The function of reducing margins removes these spaces to save paper during printing.

Margins that removing will not help save paper are not reduced.
You can set the amount to reduce the margin at the header/footer of a page. For more information, see the following.

Flow of Reducing Margins
When the function of reducing margins is executed, margins are reduced and objects are moved upward on each page. In addition, if a space appears at the bottom of a page, objects from the following page are moved to that space.
Processing Non-Consecutive Pages
You can select which pages to reduce margins. If you select non-consecutive pages, the page between them will not be affected by margin reduction.
For example, when you want to reduce margins while skipping a page to which a large, full-page sized image is inserted, it is useful to select non-consecutive pages.
