Importing User Settings Separately

You can import a separate user settings file (*.iwdtsa) to the version of Desktop you are currently using.

Importing a Separate User Settings File (*.iwdtsa)

Close all programs related to Desktop.
NOTE
If a program related to Desktop is running, an error message will be displayed during the import process. Follow the instructions in the message.

Double-click the exported separate user settings file on the computer to import the settings to.
A confirmation message is displayed.
3.
Click [Yes].
The setting information is imported.
IMPORTANT
If you import system settings, the existing settings are overwritten. Other settings are not imported if they are the same as the existing settings.
If the maximum number of settings that can be registered is exceeded, the import process is canceled without importing the settings.
NOTE
Imported settings are added to the end of the existing list.
When importing ribbon tabs and the toolbar, output buttons are also added to the output bar if they are included.

Importing a Canon Desktop Document Template File (*.iwbt)

Start Desktop Editor.
2.
Select the [File] menu > [Settings/Management] > [Manage Print Settings Templates].
3.
Click [Import].
The [Open] is displayed.
4.
Select a Canon Desktop Document Template file (*.iwbt) and click [Open].
The print settings template is imported.
