Notifying Fax Reception

If you configure to monitor fax reception with the Quick Printing Tool, you can display a message or play a sound when a fax is received.

NOTE
In order to display the notification message for fax reception, you need to configure the monitoring settings. For more information on how to configure the monitoring settings, see the following. Monitoring Fax Reception Jobs

Fax Reception Notification Messages

Fax reception is notified via a notification message displayed in Quick Printing Tool.

NOTE
The fax received notification message is displayed for 10 seconds. You can confirm the job history from Quick Printing Tool. Displaying the Job Log from Quick Printing Tool

It notifies you of receiving a fax. The alarm sounds while the message is displayed.

The types of notification sound you can select are as follows:

Type	Tone
[Use default sound]	The Windows message (information) sound is played.
[Change sound]	A wav/wave sound file can be selected.

NOTE
By performing one of the following operations, the fax reception notification sound can be turned off. By closing the fax reception notification message By double-clicking the fax reception notification icon and displaying the received fax logs
