The system requirements for installing Desktop Communicator are indicated below.

Device Resources

The following system resources are required in the imageRUNNER ADVANCE device. Check the system environment of your device.

Memory: 3072 KB

Threads: 6

Sockets: 1

File descriptors: 7

IMPORTANT
Desktop is guaranteed to be operated with Document Server V3.0 or later, but some functions cannot be used. It is recommended that you upgrade to the latest version.

NOTE
When multiple MEAP applications are installed in a device, it is necessary to select/configure them so that the total MEAP application resources used is within the limits of the device resources. For information on how to confirm the remaining resources of a device, see the manuals of the imageRUNNER ADVANCE device.

Supported Browsers

To use SMS to install Desktop Communicator, the following Web browser must be installed in a computer on the same network as the imageRUNNER ADVANCE device.
