If you encounter problems when using the machine, check the items in this section before contacting us. If the problems persist, contact your local authorized Canon dealer or the Canon help line.

Check the Following

Is the machine turned ON? Is the power cord connected?

If the machine is turned ON but does not respond, turn it OFF, check whether the power cord is connected correctly, and turn it back ON. For information on connecting the power cord, see Getting Started. Manuals and Their Contents

Is the machine connected via wireless LAN, a LAN cable, or a USB cable?

Check whether the machine is connected correctly. When connecting the machine to a wireless LAN, check whether the Wi-Fi icon appears on the screen. If the Wi-Fi icon is not displayed, the machine is not connected to the wireless LAN.
