Registering/Editing/Deleting Favorite Settings Buttons

You can register up to 18 combinations of favorite Send settings. You can also assign them names and comments for increased convenience. This feature is useful for storing frequently used Send settings.

Press

(Settings/Registration).

To register/edit favorite settings buttons, you must specify the Send settings in advance.

Press [Function Settings] → [Send] → [Common Settings].

To register a favorite settings button:

Press [Register Favorite Settings] → [Next].

Select a button ([M1] to [M18]) to register settings → press [Next].

If Show Comment is set to 'On', the stored comments appear when you press a button on the Scan and Send screen.

Press [Name] → enter a name → press [OK].

Press [Comment] → enter a comment → press [OK].

Press [OK].

To edit a favorite settings button:

Press [Edit Favorite Settings].

Select a button to rename → press [Rename].

NOTE
If you press [Check Content], the existing registered settings appear.

Press [Name] → enter a name → press [OK].

Press [Comment] → enter a comment → press [OK].

Press [OK].

NOTE
To overwrite registered settings, press [Register Favorite Settings] → select a button ([M1] to [M18]) to overwrite.

To delete a favorite settings button:

Press [Edit Favorite Settings].

Select a button ([M1] to [M18]) to delete → press [Delete].

IMPORTANT
Confirm the settings to be deleted.

Press [Yes].

NOTE
The name for the button is not deleted. To rename a button, press [Rename].

Press [Close].

NOTE
Settings stored in favorite settings buttons are not deleted, even if the power is turned OFF. If an address included in a favorite settings button is deleted from the address book, it is also deleted from the settings registered in the favorite settings button. You can register favorite settings in the shortcut keys. (See "Registering Shortcut Keys.")
