System Requirements

The following network and system environments are compatible when printing from a computer:

IMPORTANT
To print with Mac OS 9, you need to use a PS printer driver provided by Apple Inc. with the macOS, via an AppleTalk network.
If you are using a macOS, you cannot use the PCL printer driver.
If you are using the UFR II printer driver or PS printer driver in a macOS environment, you cannot print documents via an AppleTalk network.
If you are using the imagePRESS Server, see the manual of the imagePRESS Server.
If you are using the imagePRESS Server,some functions are not available with this machine. For details, see the manual of the imagePRESS Server.
If you are using macOS, for information on the printer driver, see "Printing from a Computer."
The machine does not support macOS LocalTalk networks.
