Device Functions Settings
Settings suitable for the device are required to use unique device functions. If device information is retrieved during installation, settings suitable for the device are automatically applied to the driver.
However, the optimal settings may not be applied for the following functions. Check that the settings suitable for the device have been applied before using these functions.
Functions that may require settings to be configured manually

NOTE If [On] is selected for [Details] > [Other Settings] > [Change Configuration Profile When Retrieving Device Information], items indicated by [] may also be automatically set. When connected by a TCP/IP or IPP network, the device information can be acquired only by the driver.
In a print server environment, the device information can be acquired when the Canon Driver Information Assist Service is installed in the server computer. You can install the service using the driver installer.
The acquire device information function may not be supported when the device is connected via USB, depending on the device, driver, or environment. Set the device functions and installed options manually.
