Setting the IPv4 Address of the Sub Line

When <Wired LAN + Wireless LAN> is selected for <Select Interface>, the IP address for wireless LAN (sub line) is set in <Sub Line Settings>.
Only IPv4 addresses can be used with the sub line.
By specifying static routing settings and managing the networks with a routing table, the sub line can be connected to another network via a router.

Setting an IP Address

Press <Preferences>  <Network>  <Sub Line Settings>.

Press <IP Address Settings> and set the IP address of the sub line.
You can also set both automatic assignment and manual entry. If you set both and set <Release Address Last Acquired from DHCP Server When Address Cannot Be Acquired> to <Off>, the manually entered IP address is used when automatic IP address retrieval fails.
Automatically Assigning the IP Address with DHCP
Press <DHCP>. Select this item according to the network environment of your wireless LAN.
If <DHCP> is selected, communication is performed to check whether network services are being provided, regardless of whether the environment can use DHCP. It is recommended that you deselect this item if you are not using DHCP.
Manually Entering the IP Address

Confirm that <DHCP> is deselected.
If it is selected, press the button to deselect it.

Enter the IP address, subnet mask, and gateway address.
Press each button and enter the required setting.
When connecting to another network via a router, enter the gateway address and also configure <Static Routing Settings>.

Press <OK>.

Press     <Apply Set. Changes>  <Yes>.

Setting Static Routing

Press <Preferences>  <Network>  <Static Routing Settings>.

Set <Static Routing Settings> to <On>.

The success/failure of the static routing settings is displayed in <Routing Regist.> on the screen.
When failure is displayed in <Routing Regist.>, an error message is displayed on the bottom of the screen.
In this case, select the static routing settings that failed, press <Edit> on the screen, and set the destination address and gateway address again.
The network order is displayed in <Priority> on the screen.
You can register up to 16 devices that can be connected.

On the <Edit: Destination Address> screen, enter <Address> and <Prefix Length> again, and press <Next>.
Press each button and enter the required setting.

On the <Edit: Gateway Address> screen, enter the gateway address again, and press <OK>.

Press     <Apply Set. Changes>  <Yes>.
